I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I have lost friends to cancer, and have recently discovered family members who have been diagnosed with it. We are all impacted by it in some way. I have worked in the Oncology department and have seen first hand the challenges people go through. With your help cancer can be beaten sooner. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Cause

Pancreatic cancer

Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
