My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Here's a shocker...This February I’m ditching the sweet stuff and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. Those of you who know me personally know this will be a huge challenge and therefore one worth taking on if it helps a bloody good cause. Knowing plenty of survivors I know they wouldn't still be here today if it wasn't for the research that this charity does. I've not set a massive target so then we can smash it together! To put this into context this would be like some of my wine drinking wino friends giving up wine for a month! What I will be giving up... Tea cakes, cake, biscuits, sweets, chocolate, hot chocolates, Lattes with syrups in, drinks with sugar in and Any other food that has added sugar sneakily put in it. I will still eat natural sugars such as the Ones found in fruit. To support tease the hell out of me and put some money in my fundraising pot! Colleagues - I'm sorry in advance!
