Sugar free (but just as sweet)
I’m going sugar free in February, please support me!
Hello! I'm James! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Those that know me well will know that I'm addicted to sugar - so this is going to be more of a challenge than a marathon or not drinking for a month. But then - it's worth it. Cancer tried to take my old man, several times now. He's winning that battle (although I feel the amount of sugar he eats means he should join in this one too, but thats another discussion!). Cancer last year took my awesome aunt, Sue. I still can't comprehend she's gone, way way too early. My Auntie Sue was a bit like a Nan to me, and I miss her every day. She was fabulous, with a great sense of humour and also put up an incredibly brave fight. Cancer also took my lovely Auntie Jack and my Grandad. Cancer is absolute f*cker - and i'm keen to see cancer die horribly, and not anybody else you or I love and care for. SO - this February I’m ditching the sweet stuff (even harder because it's my birthday this month too!) and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. This is going to be ridiculously hard - writing this i've eaten a Mars Bar and a packet of Skittles... and that was just a snack! Please, please help me conquer my cravings by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Thank you for your support!
