Cancer is happening right now, it was happening 40 years ago when my mum passed away in June 1978. My beautiful mum didn't get the chance to see her daughter's grow up and become parents themselves, she didn't get the chance to meet her son-in-laws or her 7 grandchildren and she didn't get the chance to live a full long life with my dad. We all missed having her in our lives - no one should have to go through the pain, heartache and loss which is why it is so important to keep the money coming in so that cures can be found.
