Sue's Race for Life

Many of you will be aware my sister Christine was fighting Cancer last year. It was a frightening time as none of the treatments were working, her last chance was to have a Stem Cell Transplant. Unfortunately Christine got a major infection following the Transplant and ended up on the High Dependacy Unit at Ipswich Hospital on life support and dialysis. We were terrified we were going to loose her. The infection was a very rare one which took some time to diagnose and the right medication given but eventually the infection was under control and Christine was taken off life support. Christine had to learn to talk, eat and even walk again. Christine's recovery has been a long hard road and to see her today no one would ever know just how far she's come the last 9mths. So much so Christine is determined to take part in this years Pretty Muddy Challenge!! My sister is the most amazing person I know.
