This is my chance to raise money for this worthy cause. A small donation would be great.
Hi everyone, as most of you have now gathered, my breast cancer has returned and this time it means business, but so do I! Thankfully the breast cancer has only spread to my bones so far and I want to give something back whilst I still can. We have raced for Life in Plymouth every year, but this is going to be different. Meagan and Grace are pushing me as my wheelchair is back in use again for distances, it will also help my finishing time😂 and added to that, it’s a fairly long, flat route around Poole/Bournemouth. If you could spare even a pound, I would be so grateful. I know that in the future, cancer will be eradicated or at least be treatment targeted, offering longer life to others. My cancer is Triple Negative Breast Cancer (tnbc) which is unfortunately very aggressive. My hope is that fighters of the future will have something that can slow the cancer offering longevity. I am also hoping to raise money for our more local unit where a nurse has been funded to ensure people like me do not find themselves out of the loop with no one to turn to and have a GP Practice that are ineffectual. I thank you all so much in advance and hope to hold a tea and coffee morning/ afternoon, which is still at the planning stage as I am undergoing chemo again which means I need to be careful.
