My Story
I have survived and been given the all clear from Breast and Axillary node cancer in 2015 and Ovarian Cancer in 2024. I know friends and family who have fought through cancer and some who are going through cancer now. I hope to raise more money and awareness for Cancer Research UK, to help the many who are facing or may face cancer so more can stay or become well again and be found earlier to improve chances of a cure. It was too soon after finishing chemotherapy in 2024 to take on such a challenge this year, but I am now enjoying my years training for the London Marathon 2026. This Facebook page starts with the reasons, the news stories and from 28th April 2025, I have been and continue to post weekly blogs and countdowns to the London Marathon 2026. I appreciate everyone's support and kindness that has been as is given to me and to Cancer Research UK.
