Sue's Half Marathon Challenge

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Too many good people I have known have died of cancer and sadly as each year goes by, someone else is added to that list. 8 years ago, my dad and most recently the mum of a close friend who lost her tough battle last autumn. I ran Reading Half Marathon when I was 17 and haven't run that distance since then and I am now considerably older than 17! However, my career change has given me much more time to run so last summer I decided I needed a real challenge to run and fundraise for Cancer Research UK. So on 17th March I will be running the Reading Half Marathon again. I think it will take me just over 2 hours. Winter training is tricky here as it keeps snowing, but I am getting out as much as possible.
