Join us for Stockport's first Twilight Walk to beat cancer sooner and to remember those who are fighting cancer or who are no longer with us.

About this event:

The Twilight Walk is open to everyone! Join us at Woodbank Park on Friday 7th February for a steady Twilight walk followed by a Candle of Hope ceremony to remember those who are fighting cancer or who are no longer with us. On the day: Registration opens at 6pm where you can pick up your twilight pack from the registration marquee. The walk starts at 7pm and is followed by a Candle of Hope Ceremony as the sun sets and twilight sets in. Each participant is invited to place a decorated Candle Bag in memory of someone they love who has been affected by cancer. The candle bag will be provided at registration in your pack. Hot drinks will be available as well as stalls and entertainment. Get involved: This walk is organised by the Relay For Life Stockport Committee. To find out more about Relay ask one of our volunteers on they day! Unfortunately no dogs are allowed at this event but we are holding a Woof Walkies on 22nd March 10:30am for more information search Stockport Woof Walkies on our Cancer Research UK event page!
