2020 Great North Run

In memory of

People who are affected

My Story

So after a lot of deliberation I'm doing the GNR for the 4th.... and FINAL... year. It's a Big One this year so I thought why not! Loads of people have asked why as it's a horrendous route and very taxing on the body, however none of that matters when your running for a charity. You do the prep, raise as much as you can in whatever way you can and complete the course for that further satisfaction. Obviously one of my aims is to beat last years time, I beat the previous years time last year so it was progress, maybe small but still progress. Cancer is happening right now and families all over are/have been affected including my own. You meet loads of people in this lifetime where they leave a lasting impact and you never know what is round the corner. I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK for people who are affected to help give them a better outlook going forward, there’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

CAUSE

Developing better treatments

From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
