Sunset Seaside Stoll 2019
My Story
This will be my fourth stroll, originally doing it in memory of family & friends, sadly losing their lives to cancer. Now it couldn't get any closer to home, it is unbelievable. My husband was given a few months to live in January, due to having bowel cancer. He is still fighting, but really not well, and we pray each day he has more time with us than they thought. Our lovely granddaughter, just four & a half months old, has kept us going and brightened our days. Please sponsor me if you can, any amount helps. Thank you so much for reading this x x x x About this event: A pleasant 5 mile sponsored Sunset Seaside Stroll on the beach from Leas Minster, Sheppey to Queenborough, at Sunset. The route boasts beach views and a stunning sunset over the Thames Estuary. Raising funds for Cancer Research UK because not everything is a race. •

Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
