My Story
Over the last few years, I’ve seen some very dear friends and loved ones battle Cancer. Some have won their fight, some were not so fortunate and a few continue to courageously take on the illness head on. On April 7th 2019, I ran the Manchester Marathon dressed as Bart Simpson to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I completed the course in a personal best 4 hours 54 minutes 10 secs. Please give anything you can (however big or small) to help my wife and her fellow CRUK colleagues fund the research which will help rid us of this indescribably horrific illness. This was my 3rd marathon, having run London twice (2004 & 2007) when I was younger and fitter! You have helped me through it with you messages of support and your financial assistance. THANK YOU x
