My Story
The ride is the brainchild of Stone King Chair Alison Allen, who had treatment for breast cancer two year's ago. We are continuing our journey to cycle between Stone King's offices to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This year we are cycling 200 miles over three days. We know that cancer affects one in two of us and those of us who are treated are fortunate to benefit from the huge amount of research that has gone before us. We are cycling as a positive message of hope and recovery whilst also being acutely aware that there are many people who are not as fortunate. We know there will be many others within the family of Stone King and beyond who have been affected by cancer. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. It supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.
