My Story
This September I’ll be doing my small bit for Cancer Research UK. I’m going to combine my love for the game of golf with raising some funds by hitting the fairways & playing 72 holes of golf over the course of one weekend. Those of you that play golf will know that one bad round can feel like an absolute deal-breaker, so I’m hoping that these 4 rounds won’t end up being my last! Statistically speaking we all know or know of someone who has been affected by cancer. I’m taking part in this fundraiser in memory of my grandfather who sadly passed away last year after a relatively short battle with the disease. With everything that has been going on in the world in recent months, most if not all charities will be feeling the squeeze due to a lack of funding which will directly impact on the level of research they can do in progressing treatment for this deadly disease. All I ask is if you can, to donate a little and support me in this challenge. It would mean the world to me. Thank you.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
