Lis, Stewart and David Bundock's Cycle 700 Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting our Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, Lis, Stewart & David Bundock will complete over 700 miles (fitness levels dictates that this will be a joint target 😉) on our bikes for Cancer Research UK. On 1st December 2002, we lost our dad - Ian Bundock - at the age of 53, to Oesophageal cancer and felt that we were now long overdue in raising some money to help fund life-saving research into this and other types of cancer. The challenge will last a month, however, the main focus will be on the 26/27 Sept, where we will cycle from our childhood home in Cublington, Bucks heading to Greenwich in London, before setting off for Brighton, Sussex. A place of many happy family memories and also the finishing location for one of Dad's finest cycling achievements, when he completed the London to Brighton bike ride in 1984. Some friends will also be joining us en route to lend some much needed support on this long last leg of the challenge. Never one to make the focus all about him, Dad would support our efforts in riding with the thoughts of many other close friends and family members who have been lost, are living with or who have overcome many different strains of this disease.
