My Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is a something we all fear and we all have a loved one or a friend who has suffered or is suffering right now. Our hearts go out to them, always, and not just because we care, but also because we fear this for ourselves too. So, I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. Selfishly I am choosing to do this in a way that will improve my own fitness as well but this seems to be a useful way in which I can encourage us all to continue to contribute to fighting this disease. If you would like to donate to my page today I do believe this will help the search for, and development of, more ways in which the fight against cancer can become even more effective. I promise to keep you updated on progress in October if you are interested but I know my progress on the 'rideathon' is so much less important than our support for this cause.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
