My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. So many of us have been touched by cancer in some way or another, with someone being diagnosed with cancer every two minutes in the UK. The money raised here will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I wanted to do something different to my previous fundraisers and the Ride Across Britain really appealed to me. It's something I have always wanted to do, but never thought myself fit enough to be able to. Not much has changed there - so why not raise funds whilst I'm at it - especially for such a great charity. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
