I'm walking at Shine Night Walk in memory of Neil, gone too soon but never forgotten.
In memory of
Neil Kidd
CANCER. The big C. That horrible, nasty, unrelenting disease that doesn't care who you are, how old you are, or if you have a family. It doesn't discriminate, and it certainly doesn't care about the lives it destroys. There are more than 200 types of cancer and everyone knows someone who is facing, or has faced, this monster. And it will affect you, just like it has affected me. Neil was my friend and a much loved colleague, and took on this nemesis. He fought bravely with more strength and courage than I could ever muster. He showed cancer he was not one to give up and go quietly. But cancer had other plans and Neil sadly lost the battle on Christmas Day 2017. Neil shouldn't have lost this battle, it shouldn't have gone that far. No one should ever have to lose this battle. So help me. Help me help eradicate this vicious, deliberating disease. In memory of Neil, every penny of your sponsorship will go to helping find a cure.
