I’m walking 10,000 steps every day this March for Cancer Research UK, please support me!

In memory of

Val Motyer

My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In February 2018 my wife Val died of cancer after a long illness during which she benefited hugely from the advances in treatments developed in recent years - which gave us much extra time to enjoy together before she died. So this March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner, and to support the ground-breaking research which was such a blessing to Val and me. So please help me "Walk All Over Cancer" and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. I'm doing this in partnership with my dear friend Avnish Shah, who belongs with me to Carpenders Park Church. Avnish's lovely wife Swee died of cancer just two months before Val, and Avnish and I have been supporting and encouraging each other over this past year of grieving.
