My Story
Having lost family and friends in recent years to cancer and seeing the indiscriminate nature of the disease it feels like the least I can do is raise some funds that might go towards the eventual eradication of this horrible condition. I had an issue last year with a melanoma which was removed and further tests show no signs that it is present elsewhere. I have subsequently enrolled on a 10 year trial to see how things progress. This episode has made me realise that all of the advances in the fight against cancer don't happen by chance but from long term research and action. I just hope that whatever I manage to raise will help towards continuing along the road to finding a way to prevent this disease devastating future generations.
