Steve Race
9th Mar 1931 - 9th Apr 2020
Energetic and enthusiastic in all he did, Steve was just recovering from a hip operation and looking forward to a new lease of life when he received the diagnosis of terminal cancer. Two weeks later he was gone. Given the current lockdown situation he will be having a direct funeral on the 8th May at 10am - he liked things kept simple. We will look to celebrate his life at a later date when people can once again socialise. In the meantime whilst all focus is on COVID-19 the world still faces its many other challenges and charities are suffering. If you can, spare a thought for Steve and place a donation. Thankyou Cancer Research UK supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Please donate today and help to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. If you are a UK taxpayer the value of your donation can increase by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme – at no additional cost to you. Please tick the Gift Aid box when you donate.
