In memory of
Dad
On 14th of July, along with four intrepid friends, Colin, Des, Martin and Graham, I will attempt to walk 100km non stop in aid of Cancer Research. The route follows the Ridgeway ancient long distance path from Lewknor to Avebury. This will involve walking all day and through the night. Its more than twice the distance I have ever walked before and so I think that qualifies as a challenge. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. Most of us know or knew someone effected by cancer. The wife of one of my walking friends is currently receiving treatment for breast cancer. Other friends and neighbors have had cancer, not all survived. Most personally I lost my dear Dad to cancer when he was only 54 years old. That was very hard to take and so I will attempt this 100km walk in his memory and hope to make a small difference. Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
