My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February, I’m running 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. I'll be running in memory of my Aunt Winnie who sadly passed away recently after a long battle with cancer. She was an incredible lady who lit up the room; a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. I'll also be running for my Uncle Andy who is currently fighting the disease; my wee Granny Annie who, with the help of intensive treatment and life-changing surgery from our wonderful NHS, survived cancer twice, and also my good mate Glenn who lost his fight against cancer a few years back. He was one of the best men I've ever known. There really are so many people I could mention. I'll be running for all the family and friends lost to cancer over the years but also for those who have survived! If you can give please dig deep. If you can share that would be amazing. Together we can make a difference. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
