My Story
As some of you may know but many of you won’t, over the past 15 months I’ve had a few health issues of my own to face. This resulted in many months of reduced mobility and lack of independence. Fortunately, I’m now making progress and thankful to say on the road to recovery. During this time, it deeply saddens me to say that we lost my beloved grandad to this awful disease and sadly know many others suffering from this, fighting their own battle. With this in mind and after seeing the fantastic care provided to those suffering from cancer, I have decided to raise money for this amazing charity. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
