2019 Royal Parks Half Marathon

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Some of you will remember I started running to raise some funds for another charity a few years ago. Well 2018 was a tough year for me, some tears of sadness and some of joy brought about by cancer and to be perfectly selfish about it I would far rather be attending an all clear party than a funeral hence this years challenge. Between my brother, my eldest son and me we intend to run in the following, the Bracknell half marathon, Windsor half marathon, The London parks half marathon, the Great North run and the great south run. I hope to be joined along the way by some friends and old colleagues from up and down the country all support gratefully received

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
