My Story
I’m raising money for Stand Up To Cancer to help fund life-saving research. I was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer back in 2007. I had surgery to remove the growth and again 3 months later following a reoccurrence. This was followed up by several sessions of BCG chemotherapy treatment. This was hugely successful partly due to the outstanding research carried out in the laboratory in the years before my diagnosis. I want to do my bit, to give something back, to help with future laboratory tests, and hopefully give someone else the chance to live their life to the full, following a potential life changing diagnosis.
