Last year I lost a loved one to cancer. He fought to the very end but it wasn’t enough, the cancer won the battle. My mother in law has fought breast cancer twice and beaten it twice! What an amazing woman and every year she runs relay for life. Nothing is going to keep her down. We all probably know someone or know of someone who has had cancer and either won their battle or sadly lost their battle. Cancer likes nothing better than to destroy lives and we do our best to keep the beast at bay but wouldn’t it be nice to say, we beat it once and for all! No more fighting battles that we may win or lose to this monster but we get to a point where we win the war! I need your help to do this. I have problems with my knees and find it painful to walk. I’m tired of sitting on the sidelines watching other people help fight, so this year I have decided despite what pain I may inflict on myself I am going to join the fight and would like you with me.
