My Story

In May 2020 my grandma, the heart and soul of our family, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, which led to her having a mastectomy at the end of 2020. As a family we supported her in the best and safest way that we could, as she battled through treatments and a major surgery. Jump forward to April 2021, nearly one year later, and she has just finished her course of radiotherapy treatment, all with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. We’re so incredibly proud of her and all that she’s achieved. Now I would like to give a little something back, as a small thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses and teams who work in Cancer Research, care and treatments.
