My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. A few years ago, my Mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer after attending her first mammogram at 50. She had no lump or no abnormalities and after attending her first mammogram, she was told there was something abnormal in her breast. After a biopsy, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and told she would have to have a full mastectomy. Thankfully, she has made a full recovery and is walking the Race for Life 2017 with me.
