My Story
An annual tradition at More House, the Cancer Research UK Race for Life in Battersea Park is a popular event for staff, students, parents and pets! Each year, we set a £1000 fundraising target and each year we have surpassed this target - help us make 2019 our best year yet! Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
