My Story
Hi everyone! Recently I lost one of the closest people in my life, and when I was asked if I wanted to participate in the 10k with my co-workers I did not think twice. Over the years we have all lost too many loved ones to Cancer, and our donations can help bring funding for research and treatments. Cancer is happening right now.1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound (and dollar) you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Though the website is in pounds (since I live in London), they still allow North American donations as well. Simply change the "Country" to the one you need and where it says "Postcode" you can put your postcode or zip code. Many thanks, Steph

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
