I’m raising as much as I can to help research into beating cancer
In memory of
Scott Duncan who passed away on 18th March 2021
2020 has been a difficult year for all of us, in particular charities which rely on our fundraising events and donations. Cancer is something that has affected most people I know in some way and has been something my friends and family have been dealing with for many years. Sadly, we have lost loved ones, pray for the ones still battling and give thanks for the ones who have overcome it. This is why I made the decision in November to help raise as much money for Cancer Research as possible by taking on the biggest challenge I could think of, running a marathon! Not just any marathon either, Bolton Marathon which has several difficult hills to tackle. Before October 2020, I had never run further than 10k and had a break from running until June 2020 to have my daughter. Since then, I have slowly been increasing my distance and can now run a half marathon but there is still a lot of training to go before I attempt the Marathon. Please follow my training journey over the next 16 weeks and if you can donate to support this amazing charity.
