Shine Night Walk - Full Marathon
Sat 23 Sep 2017
My husband has grade 3 brain cancer with a prognosis of 18 months - 3 years. I hope he'll beat that.
In memory of
My Husband - AA3 fighter
We have had so much raised for us as a family to enable us to pay our bills at the very beginning and now to make memories as a family, that I am doing this marathon walk to raise awareness of brain tumours/cancer. It is such an incredibly awful illness; it is destroying the very organ that controls your entire body and who you are. Yet statistically most brain tumour sufferers won't live past 5 years after diagnosis. This is heart breaking. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
