My third year but sadly fluffy cannot watch me finish but her daughter, my friend, is taking part.

Merlyn aka Fluffy
An amazing woman, along with other people I know, have fought this vile disease. I run this race for a hero who I call Fluffy, she was so brace and head strong, she battled her way through 18months before she was sadly taken too soon. But in that time she inspired me so much to be strong, brave and face whatever life might throw at me. She was such a wonderful and caring woman, one I am honoured to have called my friend. Sadly she was taken too soon from her family which is why I will always take part in this race as long as I am able. Cancer Research need as much fundraising as they can get to help others win their fight. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
