My Story
Actually, this is the end of my Silver DofE Sport section. I could've chosen to round it off ambiguously with a sort of "I managed to run a distance whoopee" vibe, but I decided to do a Race for Life. We did one a couple of years ago and it was an amazing feeling. Everyone is affected by cancer in some way. Members of my family have had cancer, but what's struck me this year is how many people my age at school now have parents who have cancer, or have died as a result of it.
