My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Day 269...96 days to go.. Going really well and surprisingly loving every minute. Had a few injuries along the way but thankfully nothing too serious I have loved every minute of running through the summer months and finding some lovely routes along the way. Did have a place in the Birmingham half but unfortunately due to Covid it's been moved back to May 2022. Will try and enter some 10k's to just change the distance a bit. Not sure if my knees would agree but see how it goes :-) I'm honestly so grateful for the donations that I have raised so far and can't thank everyone enough, every penny can make a difference and one day there will be a cure for this cruel disease. Thank you everyone for taking time to read this.I'll keep going and post an update closer to finish line lol xxx This whole challenge started from a friend a working who was running 5k everyday in 2020 (Lee McRoberts) who has passed the baton onto me. Must admit a couple of weeks after I had agreed to do this challenge I did panic a bit but seeing how well Lee & the other lads at work have done coming towards the end of their challenge it has really pushed me to give this a go. Really nervous in taking this huge challenge on but planning on taking each day at a time and hoping not to pick up too many injuries on the way!! I will update this page as i'm going along,if anyone wants to join me on a run then that would be great, will need all the help I can get ! Cancer has affected so many people in my life and others so I really would like to make a small diffierence and help raise some money for such a much needed course. Thank you xx
