Stavros is walking all over cancer
In memory of
All the brave children and their families at the Royal Manchester Chidren's Hospital
We are all touched by sadness at some time in our lives, but the loss of a loved one is the hardest sorrow to endure. Cancer in its many forms touches many of us personally and professionally, because there are many people who, like me, work to help diagnose, treat and support patients and their families who are touched by the disease. My father's death from lung cancer was the first time in my life that I had ever been affected personally by the disease. Now many years on I find myself working alongside some absolutely amazing people and most importantly children and their families who are all battling away against the disease. Every step of this 10,000 a day is a metaphor for us taking one step closer to beating the disease forever......Thank you so much for your support!
