My Story
Stanley wants to run 10k in 10 days to raise money for cancer research. Stanley is 5 years old and even at this young age we have had to talk to him about cancer. We have also talked about ways we can help even though the doctors try and "fix" people there are things we can do. Stanley's Nanna has just completed a very intense 9 months of cancer treatment and she is one of the lucky ones that has come out the other side. Stanley very briefly met his grandad when he came into this world 3 weeks early, I beleive this happened for a reason, if he came on his due date he would never have met him. He knows his grandad watches over him from heaven and his love of trains runs deep within both his grandsons. Everybody will be affected by cancer, wether it be a loved one or themselves. Maybe, just maybe a little bit of research can save someone we love.
