Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. We have set up the page in the hope that you will support the life-saving work of Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK carries out world class research into the prevention, detection, and treatment of all cancers and collectively its researchers and clinicians save thousands of lives each year. By supporting our Stand Up to Cancer Gigathon 2018-NW taking place between 14th and 28th October 2018 you will ensure that all donations raised within our local community will go directly to this amazing cause, and help more people survive cancer. Our aim is to raise £10,000 in total and we hope to do this with the help of you, our donors!! The Gigathon is being organised the McrGig4Life Committee, who have all been affected by cancer in some shape or form. This will be the first ever event of its kind for Cancer Research UK happening across several venues in Manchester City Centre.
