Stand up to Cancer Cycle Challenge

After breaking my body a few too many times this year I really wanted to focus on something positive and put all of my efforts into doing something worthwhile, something which will make a difference. So after months of planning the Stand up to Cancer Challenge is finally here! In October, Simon Ledsham, one of the directors at Cancer Research UK, and I will be cycling around all of the CRUK institutes in a week. The route takes us from Glasgow to Manchester to Cambridge (via Birmingham) and on to the Francis Crick Institute. To put this challenge into perspective. I would class myself as a 'pretty keen' cyclist but I will be cycling the equivalent of what I normally cycle in a week, in one day, and I will be doing this for 6 consecutive days! This is a challenge that everyone can be involved in. You can donate through my just giving page or by taking a selfie of your own ride and posting it on social media with the hashtag #SU2Ccyle and then texting CYCLE5, CYCLE10 or CYCLE20 to 70404 I believe that through this challenge we can come together as a cycling community and achieve something amazing.
