My Story
Thank you for visiting our Race for Life Just Giving page. St. Helen's Primary School is raising money for Cancer Research UK and we would love your support. As part of our annual Sports Day this year, the staff, children and their families will be completing a 'Race for Life Loopy Lap'. This year, many of the children and staff at St. Helen's Primary School have been personally affected by cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life Schools to raise as much money as possible and save lives. Sadly, too many people have had their lives turned upside down by this cruel disease. It's time to take a stand and show cancer who's boss! So for every special person who has lost their battle, or currently fighting one - we're doing our 'Loopy Lap' for you! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. We will be very grateful for any donations we receive and hopefully you will feel great knowing that you're helping to beat cancer sooner. Thank you in advance, from Team St Helen's!

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
