My Story
We had organised a St. Anthony's Race for Life as part of our Lent fundraising last year....unfortunately due to the lockdown, the fundraising and race never happened. Here at St. Anthony's, we see how cancer affects the lives of our families. Sadly, there are very few families who haven't been touched by cancer one way or another. We want to get our kids active in raising money to help save lives. We are suggesting that you try to raise £5 as a family - if all of our families did this then we would hit (or maybe even double) our target. The new race date will be during the week beginning Monday 9th November (fingers crossed) 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. THIS PAGE HAS NOW BEEN CLOSED. THE CHILDREN COMPLETED THEIR SOCIALLY DISTANCED RUNS OVER THE WEEK. THEY WERE BRILLIANT. WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT FROM THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS OFF THE SCHOOL. INCLUDING GIFT AID, THE TOTAL RAISED WAS JUST OVER £4500.....THAT IS AN AMAZING DONATION TO CANCER RESEARCH. THANK YOU! :)
