My Story
Hello and welcome to our fundraising page in aid of Cancer Research UK! We’d just like to start off by thanking you so much for your interest, time & support – it really does mean so much to us. Here’s a little bit of information about our group, the Spice Girls (& Boy) comprising of the following bandmates: Sheetal as Lead, Sia, Seema, Bindiya, Sonal, Maya, Reena, Anjela, Shilpa and Arjun on Bass. A long time ago…. (25+ years) in a place not so far away….(South Kensington).... Episode 1 : Friendships & Bonds Were Formed Hah, OK so we could write an epic story (hmm… book deal anyone?) but let’s get to the important bits…. We’re a mixture of University pals, sisters, sons & daughters that started with a friendship and have since evolved over the years into one heck of a big loving family! Sadly though, Cancer found its way into our family... We are truly grateful to the most wonderful carers/helpers/staff/nurses/doctors and friends and family, who have helped and supported us and our loved ones. This walk is in honour of all of those loved ones. So please donate if you can, and support us and Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which are terrible stats, that we need to change, and we can all make a difference!
