I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK!
My Story
First things first, if you know me at all you probably know this: I do not particularly enjoy running. In fact, I try to actively avoid it. But cancer is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide and something needs to be done. The effects of cancer can be devastating not only for the sufferer but for their families and friends too. This is why I decided to tackle my dislike of running, get off the couch and do something to help, even if it is as small as this. So here I am, slowly taking up running by taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My target is £200, not a massive one but every little helps!
