My Story
I’m taking part in Race for Life 5k to raise money for important research and in memory of my amazing Mum. A lot of you have probably donated to my fundraising before (which I am so so grateful for) but due to the effects of COVID-19, Cancer Research UK has had to cut its research funding by £45 million so this year, more than ever, it is really important to donate whatever you can, if you can. I’m currently making my way through couch to 5k in preparation for this and it will be my first ever official 5k RUN (help). 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
