Mum's cancer was diagnosed at a very late stage. There was no treatment available. She didn't know she had it because her symptoms were similar to illnesses she had suffered from for years. There's no cure for stage IV cancers, only treatment designed to give you more time. And, as you soon discover when someone you love has terminal cancer, there's never enough time. And on a more personal note, the medicine I take to stop my endometriosis choking the life out of my sciatic nerve every month has worn off, so it will HURT ME.
