Sophie's Race for Life
Basingstoke Pretty Muddy 5k 2018
Sat 16 Jun 2018
The four Waite girls are tackling Pretty Muddy in respect to our sister, and Will Waite (age 8) will be taking on the muddy kids event for his auntie, the fabulous Nicky Tuck. Nic was so strong through the first diagnosis and treatment she commanded total respect then, but to deal with it all over again with such power is so inspiring. Cancer is cruel, unfair and picks on anyone no matter their age, gender, general health, race or religion. So together we will do all we can to help eradicate cancer, so no-one has to go through what Nic and so many others have had and having to deal with. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
