My Story
3 years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer . As someone who has always been relatively fit and active, the 18 months of chemo and radiotherapy was as tough mentally as it was physically on my body. Luckily I received the best treatment, care and support and am today able to call myself a survivor. I want to set myself this last big challenge ( to swim the 22 Kms from Jersey to Normandy in France solo) to prove that I can still do hard things and that the mind is also very powerful. Too many friends and loved ones have been affected by cancer, so it’s important for me to fundraise for cancer research in general. Thank you for your donation. It means so much.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
