Tough 10 Leeds
Sat 21 Oct 2017
On 21st October, Faye and I will be undertaking Cancer Research’s Tough 10k at Roundhay Park in Leeds, a course full of mud, puddles, hills and streams. As most of you will know, I’m not a runner – in no way, shape or form could I claim to be even mildly sporty! So why have I signed up to do a 10k run through the mud and streams? I’m sure that we can all agree that cancer is an awful disease and having lost one of my friends this summer at far too young an age, I wanted to do something to raise funds (however small) towards the research into screening, diagnostics, prevention and treatments that Cancer Research funds. If you have a few spare pennies, I’d be very grateful of sponsorship. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
