Pretty Muddy Hull 5K 2017
Sat 24 Jun 2017
my father was the bravest man I have ever known. He always put others first and never gave up!
In memory of
David Walker
I'm doing pretty muddy for my Dad who lost his battle to lung cancer at the age of 64 , leaving behind a son and a daughter, 2 step daughters, a step son, 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Losing my Dad has been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with and it is only 4 months since we said our goodbyes so the pain is still running strong and emotions are high on the pain of losing this amazing man from our lives. There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about him or tell someone how brilliant he was to us all and anyone he knew. If I could ever do anything to save this man I would because no will ever replace my Dad. I know he always said that he wouldn't of changed anything and was happy with his life with my Mum and their children and that we should never be sad but it hard when you have a massive hole in your heart. Cancer is a disease that holds no prejudice and can affect any one of us, it really doesn't care. I want to help towards a cure that stops anyone feeling the way I felt when I held my Dads hand and said my goodbyes for the last time so please donate, thank you so much ?
